Demand, Supply, and Price Summary:


Demand: Indian buyers (Kalyani, NECO, Rashmi, Sunflag, etc.) require 2-3 Panamax cargoes or 150-230KT. Buyer price indications are at 210-215 CFR India or 194-199 FOB with two-port discharge freight.


Supply: Sellers like Traf, IMR, Vitol, VISA, NISCO, Javelin, and Glencore collectively offer more than 400KT of prime hard.


Price: Traders’ cheapest cargoes cost 193-194 FOB, aiming to sell near 198 FOB. With BHP recently selling two Panamax cargoes in a week, sellers may avoid rushing sales during Chinese New Year.
